Today, in 2017, purchasing music has become very convenient with all of the new and improved technology. We, as a society, are given countless sources to access any genre, artist, or album that we so desire. Sources like iTunes, Pandora, Spotify, YouTube, and Soundcloud provide us with an endless supply of diverse melodies to jam out to at any given moment! However, some die hard music junkies prefer to travel back in time to when vinyl records were the fad. Some say that vinyl is the only way to escape reality and be completely absorbed in the music. So, are they worth their price tag?

A digital download of an album will always cost you around $10, or if you plane on purchasing a newly released, or highly rated album, it can cost cost around $40. Vinyl on the other hand ranges from $12 to $40. It also depends on the condition of the record and where you purchase it. Sometimes you can even negotiate the original price and lower it. Also, Vinyl records represent a golden age of music and musicians that technology today can’t compete with.

Honestly, it is obvious that vinyl records are a total BARGAIN! Stay groovy music maniacs.
