This weeks DIY is another colorful spring decoration to brighten up your room. For this project you will need three canvases that are the same size, mod podge, scrap book paper that are different colors and patterns, and acrylic paint.

First decide what color you would like to use to paint the background of your canvases. I found that a solid color worked best, but a gradient or a pattern would also work. While those dry, begin cutting petal shapes from you paper. Make at least 50 for each canvas that are different sizes and colors as well as a little circle for the center of the flower.  Then once the canvas is dry, begin placing the petals in a radial pattern around the center. You can choose different ways to arrange the petals like going big to small as you move out from the center or vice versa. Next, repeat this step with the other 2 canvases and you are done!
